We all love a good buffet, but did you know that strategy has crossed over into the world of travel? Yes, you can purchase memberships now that offer unlimited flights, hotel stays, camping, heck, even cruising!! But they often come with a hefty price tag, many restrictions, hidden fees, and the dreaded long list of blackout dates. So let's take a look at some of these cool offers, and see if they might be perfect for you, or too good to be true...
Disclaimer: The following is what I've gleamed through my own research. There may be some mistakes or updates, so please do your own due diligence. This is more of a jumping off point for those curious about the topic!
UNLIMITED FLIGHTS: Frontier GoWild Pass Cost & Details: $599 (on sale for a while at $349) Annual Pass + $0.01 per booking and taxes and fees They also have monthly and seasonal passes but we won't cover those in this post). You can buy a domestic ticket from 12:01 for the next day for $0.01 (if available) and international ticket up to 10 days ahead. Restrictions:
Hidden Fees:
The Takeaway: I bought a GoWild Pass in November 2025 and was able to use it for a great trip to Dominican Republic in January. They've since updated terms to make it much harder to travel internationally if you don't live in a hub i.e. require a domestic leg. Make sure you really research the ins and outs of what you can and can't do with this pass - it's AMAZING for some, and a total waste of money for others. Noteworthy: Frontier's sister airline WizzAir also has an All-You-Can Fly Pass! 499 euros per 12 months, plus 9.99 euro per flight segment. Book from 3 days to 3 hours before a flight (availability and blackout dates apply). All international routes are included but not domestic Italian routes.
UNLIMITED HOTEL STAYS:
Landing Standby™ Cost: $1,495 for unlimited stays at fully furnished Landing apartments in 250+ cities nationwide. Restrictions:
Hidden Fees:
The Takeaway: Sounds great for digital nomads who don't have a home base, because this allows for flexibility and is much cheaper than a regular home or apartment in many cities. The $150 per stay cleaning fee makes it NOT a great option for short stays (under 3 days, in my opinion). UNLIMITED CRUISING: Margaritaville Paradise Pass Cost: (Silver Level) $849/year (Gold Level) $1,599 for a double occupancy room on unlimited cruises through 12/31 of the year booked. Restrictions:
Hidden Fees:
The Takeaway: Potentially worth it if you LOVE Margaritaville cruises and can take at least 2, with a friend or partner. UNLIMITED RAIL: Amtrak's USA Rail Pass Cost: USA Rail Pass ($499), ride 10 rail segments within 30 days. They also have the California Rail Pass but we won't go over those details in this post. Restrictions:
The Takeaway: Comes down to an average of $50 per train segment, so if you plan to do a lot of long distance train travel in 1 month, it would be a good deal.
