Cute Helmets for Toddlers & Kids: Mini Hornit LIDS Review

Safety first guys. Kids should be in an age and weight appropriate carseat or booster when in the car, and wearing a good helmet when riding bikes, scooters, or roller skates. But helmets don't have to come with a "Come on mommmmmm, do I have toooooo!?!?" battle of wills. Helmets can be COOL! Adorable! A fun fashion statement!! I ran across the Mini Hornit LIDS line of helmets at Toy Fair New York and reached out to them immediately when realizing my kiddos had outgrown their previous helmets. They sent us 3 to review, and we are LOVING them!!! Watch our quick video below unboxing and modeling them (there may even be a little "Baby Shark" ditty belted out by yours truly LOL! The fun kid-friendly designs are definitely the first thing that'll grab your attention, but there are some other features we are loving as well:

1. Integrated LED light!! That's right, in the back of the helmet is a battery-powered LED light that you simply press for 3 various options of flashing, solid, or off. Works 10 hours solid light or 20 hours flashing light. 2x AG3 batteries included.
2. 11 air vents to keep your child's sweaty head from combusting this summer.
3. Regular adjustable straps under ears and chin, but an additional sizing adjuster in the back, with a simple turning knob for a quick final adjustment.
4. Simple sizing - size Small for ages 2-5 years (48-53cm) and Medium for 5+ years (53-58cm).
5. EN1078 and CPSC tested
