Giveaway Company Highlight:  Karina's Strollers

Shopping for a stroller is no easy chore. In fact, it's probably one of the toughest decisions you have to make when planning for baby's arrival (and if you've not chosen smartly with your first stroller, you'll be back in the market several times over the next few years as you progress from bassinet stroller to car seat travel system to jogger to umbrella). If you're in the midst of your shopping, don't miss my previous post: 15 Things To Consider When Shopping For A Stroller!

For me, budget was a huge limitation. I saw the $1,000 systems out there but just could not even consider them. Sure they looked super cool, the names were well known and respected, but function-wise, I dunno, they just didn't seem any better than the cheaper ones. They all have their issues, and you'd expect a pricey stroller to be PERFECT!

Well, I came across a company last week at The Mamas Expo that kinda blew me away. Karina's Strollers is a mom and dad run business importing two brands of strollers from Poland, TUTEK and BabyActive, and boast that one stroller system will have your little one riding in comfort from newborn through age 5. I took one of their Grander strollers for a test run and one thing that was especially striking was how light weight it was!! When I had the bassinet insert in my son's stroller, it was EXTREMELY heavy, going up and down a couple of steps was really really tough. But this pram, SO LIGHT! The car seat as well. Not to mention how posh they all look. You would be totally strolling in style! Their strollers also feature air-pumped tires, gigantic under-baskets (great for grocery shopping!), and as I mentioned before, light weight aluminum frames.

How fabulous are these strollers?? I gotta get me one...
Karina's Strollers offers 10% off to veterans, military, police officers, firemen and paramedics, and also has a program where every 100th stroller they sell is FREE!! How great!
