Such an interesting read and I love how much you've detailed you've gone into - you really did give the car a good test! I'd love to drive one one day just to see what it's like, but i think the reality for us would be that we'd stress about being able to find charging points, knowing us we'd get well and truly stuck in the middle of nowhere!
